How to Handle Cold-weather Starting Difficulties
Low-temperature effects on lubrication and electrics, and countermeasures.
Cold-weather starting difficulty is mostly related to higher oil viscosity and reduced battery capacity. Use low-temperature grade lubricant before winter, insulate outdoor or unheated rooms, and idle-run for 3–5 minutes to warm up the airend.
